AN ANALYSIS OF CURRENT RESEARCH TRENDS REGARDING THE UTILIZATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN TEACHING

Abstract:
This article aims to explore research trends in the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of education between 2017 and 2024, based on data from Scopus. The PRISMA model was employed as the methodology for selecting and analyzing relevant articles, resulting in a total of 25 documents being included in the analysis. The author of the article examines the pertinent information related to the primary research topic, while also identifying unresolved issues that warrant further investigation in the future. The study's findings indicate that the majority of authors have focused on studying the role and potential of AI in the teaching and learning process, as well as the challenges and barriers associated with its implementation in education. Additionally, the research suggests that it is crucial to delve into the understanding of teachers' perceptions regarding the use of AI in education from diverse cultural backgrounds. Furthermore, exploring strategies for integrating AI into education is also deemed essential. This article serves as a valuable reference for researchers interested in the application of AI in education, providing a comprehensive overview of pertinent studies and guiding future research directions.
