Title: ON POTENTIAL NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF DEFECTS IN MACHINE CREATIVITY OF
GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON EDUCATIONAL SUBJECTS |

Abstract: The integration of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technology into the educational process has
become a prevailing trend in today's higher education. As a crucial arena for knowledge innovation
and talent cultivation, universities should be vigilant about the profound application risks triggered by
the lack of hierarchical creativity in generative AI while actively embracing the convenient services it
brings. From the perspective of the internal logic, algorithmic mechanism, and output performance of
generative AI technology, it is essentially an advanced analytical and processing tool focused on the
syntactic level. There is still a gap between the creativity it represents and genuine human creativity.
Over - reliance on this flawed creativity model may inhibit the stimulation of individuals' high - order
creativity and trigger anxiety about the replacement of creativity. The cognitive pitfalls hidden behind
this technology may ultimately lead to ethical and moral crises such as the alienation of value
judgment. The primary strategy to address the above - mentioned risks is to clarify the functional
positioning of humans and technology. In the environment of human - machine co - creation, emphasis
should be placed on the stimulation mechanism of high - order creativity. A dynamic and flexible
institutional norm that buffers risks should be established, and the AI literacy of teachers and students
should be continuously improved. |
